Dairy Farmers of America started out its digital signage program relatively early on. Initially, DFA began by hiring multiple different vendors at once. The Challenge
95% of DFA’s digital signage is centered around internal communication. With that in mind, DFA needed a unified messaging system that would allow them to display the same content across multiple facilities. Doing so would improve how all of its staff consume and recalls content, boosting overall efficiency in the workplace. However, DFA also wanted to maintain the unique culture each of its locations has cultivated. In order to achieve this, DFA also needed a system that would allow specific users to access their digital signage platform to make changes as necessary. Once they came across REACH, it was a unanimous vote to make it their new digital signage software provider.
The Solution
With REACH, DFA has been able to expand to over 300 screens across 200 locations. This has allowed each location to be on the same page when receiving messages from HQ while still allowing enough agency to maintain their unique cultures. Additionally, DFA was able to use their own hardware when applicable to get REACH’s software up and running. Doing so has cut down on costs and hastened its expansion. Another key standout was REACH’s impeccable customer support network. Any issues were quickly addressed, and the team took the time to hear all of their concerns. As a result, a DFA has built a reliable digital signage network.
The Results
Since improving its digital signage initiative, Dairy Farmers of America has been able to streamline its internal communications methods. Each location is easily able to track corporate objectives while still tailoring its messaging to its specific demographic.
