VICI Beauty School is one of the Midwest’s premier beauty schools. Located in Milwaukee, WI, the institution has produced hundreds of cosmetology and esthiology professionals over the past 50 years. From Print Media to Intuitive, Cloud-Based Editing
Before partnering with REACH Media Network, VICI Beauty School utilized traditional means of reaching its audience, relying on printed materials such as brochures and bulletin boards, as well as email marketing. The school wanted a more streamlined way to advertise its products, services, and student accomplishments. Additionally, VICI realized not every client was on an email list or social media. Therefore, employing digital signage would open the door to more marketing opportunities and allow them to expand to a wider audience. After licensing 3 Seneca players and joining REACH Media Network, the school was able to place displays in front desk areas of its cosmetology and esthiology schools, respectively. Additionally, while the player is currently offline, the school is undergoing some renovations at its salon building and will incorporate its third player there as well.
VICI Beauty School Reflects Its Brand in Every Display
Since implementing its digital displays, VICI Beauty School has been able to greet visitors with front desk signage and immediately make an impression. Being able to see a display on each side of the wall, users are presented with a variety of content to interact with and absorb. Using screenshots of an external data list, the school then uploads these data screenshots into a playlist to display prices and services to its audience. They are then able to supplement these digital menu boards with other announcements, such as promotional deals, daily and monthly specials, and ongoing discounts for military and police. Additionally, the school can also post some student content to these displays, such as staff birthdays, school events, and graduation slideshows.
Administrative Assistant Amy Chusid is typically the sole publisher of digital signage content. However, she will occasionally receive requests from others for potential campaign ideas. Overall, the school’s signage network has been proven to be a success. Clients love seeing specials advertised clearly on the displays, excited to take advantage of them. Sharing staff birthdays and graduation photos heightens the excitement around campus, contributing to the overall passion of the community. Additionally, as previously mentioned, the school is now able to reach people not on its email list or social media channels. Overall, the VICI Beauty School has leveraged digital signage to increase its promotional output and highlight exciting deals and events around campus.
