THE SOLUTION
Before partnering with REACH Media Network, Hudson Guild relied on more traditional means of promoting events and delivering information to its community. Publishing fliers, print media, and doing some social media promotions, the organization eventually wanted to upgrade its communication potential to reach a wider audience and have more flexibility in creating its promotions. In 2021, Hudson Guild partnered with REACH Media Network to implement digital signage in 2 of its main facilities. Following the success of the initial installation and experimenting with everything REACH Media Network’s content-management system has to offer, Hudson Guild is now in talks to expand to some of its other 15 locations. In addition to providing more creative control, the software has improved internal workflows, with Marketing Specialist Michael Anthony Santos describing the tools as “A super useful asset as a marketing guy.”
THE RESULTS
Since implementing REACH Media Network digital signage software, Hudson Guild has been able to bolster engagement for community events and leverage digital technology to improve its promotions. By integrating F.Y. Eye into its signage displays, they can leverage the advertising agency’s PSA network. This is a free advertising space for nonprofits by nonprofits. These PSAs are streamed through REACH Media Network’s playlist application, seamlessly mixing them in with local Hudson Guild content. Michael manually updates a calendar application in the bottom left, displaying weekly events. These events center around community building, such as haunted houses and pet adoption events. The organization is also very active on social media channels, so it has integrated social media into its displays to share feeds, trends, and community announcements.
These screens have helped Hudson Guild build relationships with local businesses through signage promotions. Additionally, the organization has received requests from its Fulton location to receive its own signage, hinting at plans of expansion. Through a successful 4 years of deploying digital signage at its main locations, Hudson Guild has embraced the transformative power digital signage can provide.
